De Nationalité Française, Anglaise et Australienne.
Ayant grandi en Nouvelle-Calédonie, Vanessa Moulin a ensuite vécu en Angleterre, en Australie, en France,
au Congo-Brazzaville, en Côte d'Ivoire, au Mali avant d'arriver au Bénin en 2019.
Diplômée du Sydney Design Institute (Event and Entertainment Design), elle a conçu et réalisé des décors et accessoires pour divers spectacles en France et en Australie.
En parallèle, elle a travaillé en tant que graphiste freelance sur la conception d'affiches de spectacle, de publicités, de logos en Australie, en France et au Congo.
A son arrivée en Côte -d'Ivoire, elle démarre un projet personnel de portraits contemporains de femmes qu’elle côtoie et qu’elle photographie, puis elle se tourne vers la réalisation de scènes de rue.
Son arrivée au Bénin en 2019 marque l’émergence d’un style diffèrent, plus personnel où elle propose un parcours d’introspection dans des univers déconstruits, recomposés et irréels où se mêlent l’infiniment petit et l’infiniment grand. Elle y utilise la photographie, la sérigraphie, le photomontage et la peinture acrylique

Vanessa grew up in New Caledonia. She then Lived in a number of countries: England, Australia, France, Congo-Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, Mali and has been living in Bénin since 2019.
Graduate of Sydney Design Institute (Events and Entertainment), she worked as a set designer for various shows in Australia and in France.
At the same time, she has worked as a freelance graphic designer in Australia, France and the Congo, designing in performing arts,
advertisement as well as corporate.
In Ivory Coast, she undertook a personal project of portraits of women using photography and paint. She then went on to create street scenes in Bamako.
In her more recent work, urban landscape provided the inspiration and led her to use her close environment to create whimsical and silent
dream-like scenes.
Her work is a combination of photomontages, stencils and Acrylic paint on canvas, cardboard and wood.
